Cloud4Bizz: The start

We – the Cloud4Bizz team -  founded Cloud4Bizz because we were looking for an environment where we could work smarter. An environment that would help you as a user to work in a structured and safe manner. We researched several systems, but in all cases there was still a lot of IT knowledge involved. SharePoint 2010 was ultimately our choice. But SharePoint out-of-the-box does not provide what we wanted. First, some intensive programming and configuration was needed. After we used Cloud4Bizz for ourselves for some time we decided to offer Cloud4Bizz to others. Especially as initiatives like Google Apps and Microsoft Office365 do require some IT knowledge of the user (or the hiring of “expensive” IT companies) we decided to make Cloud4Bizz as user friendly as possible as we anticipated that our users will have no IT background. Cloud4Bizz had to take over the IT hassle and worries of self-employed persons , SMEs , Non-profit organizations and (local) governments . So we set Cloud4Bizz up with the most basic business workflows so users could get started from day 1. Cloud4Bizz provides you with features like:

• Storing and archiving documents
• Storage and archiving of images
• Sharing calendars, tasks and contacts
• Maintaining personnel files
• Keeping track of sick days and holidays

Our Vision: The Cloud

We see the cloud as a means:

• to allow organizations – large and small, profit and nonprofit – to run their business in a centralized, secure and structured manner whenever and wherever they want to at a price that fits in everyone’s budget.
• to be less dependent on IT. Indeed, the Cloud does not require any serious IT on your side so you can concentrate on running your own business
• to collaborate, expand or operatie without limits

Our Attitude: No Nonsense, No Black Boxes

We – The team of Cloud4Bizz – are all entrepreneurs. We ourselves are our target audience. We looked for solutions to our challenges. As we had contacts with and experiences in the enterprise world we got in touch with enterprise solutions. The mix between entrepreneurship and enterprise organizations created our attitude. Our belief is that:

• business should be done based on integrity, transparency and no-nonsense;
• services should be developed based on best practices
• there must be freedom of choice. You do business with us because you want to, not because you are contractually obligated.
• there should be no Black Box. You must have the freedom to work without relying on us for any change. (Within your organization there is always one person with admin rights
